SUGi X Banyan Tree Phuket | Rewilding Partnership

The luxury hotel brand Banyan Tree partnered with the NGO SUGi to rewild the landscape around their flagship hotel in Phuket. The project aimed to restore the land’s original ecology by planting native forests that once thrived there centuries ago. Working with the creative director, I helped shape the film’s narrative arc, coordinating between stakeholders, local production teams, and participants while also managing the production on the ground in Thailand. The film documented this initiative through the voices of the workers who have shaped the landscape over the decades.

On the Trails of Jóhann Jóhannsson | Universal

Role: Producer & Co-director

With the support of Deutsche Grammophon, I went to Iceland to produce and co-directed a short-film about Jóhann Jóhannsson to coincide with a retrospective release of some of his major releases.

In collaboration with film maker Blair Alexander, we traced Jóhann’s roots back to his home town in Reykjavik, Iceland to remember him through the memories of some of the people closest to him.
